REGISTER FOR E-FILING

In order for us to register an individual or  company on e-filing we would require the following

• Company registration documents
• Company income tax number
• ID document  and tax number for the director that will be the representative vendor
• Details of  all the other directors / shareholders for the representative activation
• Company’s address, contact numbers and email address
• Banking details of the  company
• Proof of payment for the registration

Once we have all the documents we will get the process started, we will require you to sign the e filing registration form as well as a letter of authority to appoint the representative for the company  and also a power of attorney (we will mail these documents to you).

Once we have these forms  the e filing profile will normally be activated within 24 hours, and then the representative activation sometimes takes up to a week, under certain conditions there might be additional requirements from SARS for the representative to verify their details with SARS  for this phase, we will keep in touch and keep you updated in these cases.

REGISTER FOR E-FILING

E filing is a free online platform used for the updating of information, registration for taxes and submissions of returns.

This system is also used for updating your banking details at SARS, and also updating your address and contact details.

Yoy can also use this platform to access previously submitted returns, request statements on the various taxes and do PAYE and VAT applications.

The platform is also used in verification and auditing of returns, uploading of documents for these verifications and audits and to track the process on these verifications and audits.

On e filing you can also file disputes with SARS in cases where you do not agree with assessments made by SARS, and also to apply for suspension of payments.

On e filing you also have the functionality of accessing your tax status, to see whether your taxes are up to date and also then to apply for tax clearances and tax clearance pins.
